Primo Nord LW is equipped with a highly insulated lining of 5mm of neoprene with a 2mm ‘air cell’ lining closest to your leg.. Air cell is an open cell material which achieves a very effective air layer between the body and the neoprene lining. If the foot gets too warm, the condensation is spread within the air cells and evaporates up the boot shaft and out of the top of the boot. The boot, therefore, keeps the wearer warm in cold weather and cooler during warm weather, making it an ideal boot for all seasons, particularly autumn and winter.
The outside of the boot shaft is made of a rugged, rip-stop fabric called Cordura polyester which itself is waterproof.. Beneath it lies 5 mm of the waterproof neoprene lining and beneath that, the 2mm air-cell lining.. The boot is extremely light yet very strong, with a high resistance to sharp objects in the terrain. The half–length Riri zipper at the back of the boot is made in Switzerland. A strap with a strong metal clasp wraps ALL the way around your leg so you can tighten it to prevent a pebble or a twig from falling into the boot. Actual leather piping at the boot top prevents separation of the lining in the years to come . The inside back heel of our Nord LW is fitted with an essential leather- like reinforcement for comfort and durability.

A 5mm removable EVA felt insole increases shock absorption during walking and provides additional insulation from the ground.
